We keep it simple so you don’t have to stress. Taking care of your pup should feel as easy as A-b-c!

Pick-Up

We swing by your home, greet your pup with a smile (and maybe a treat), and get them leashed up for their outing.

Adventure

Whether it’s a 2-Hour Social Pack Hike or an epic Off leash Adventure, we tailor each adventure to your dog’s energy and personality—exercise and enrichment guaranteed.

Drop-Off

We bring your happy, tired pup back home safe and sound, towel off if needed, refresh their water, and send a quick update to keep you in the loop.

  • Pick-up + Drop-Off

    We pick your pup up, and drop them off, wherever works best for you!

    We make sure our pack size stays small so everypup has fun and gets home safe!

    All packs go out with a team of two leaders to ensure safety, and fun, for all pups.

  • Pet First Aid + CPR Certified

    All our leaders are certified in Pet first aid and CPR.

Our Services

On-Leash Social Pack Hike

$53/dog

This 2-Hour Dog Walk Hiking Adventure includes pup pick up and drop off from your preferred location for a social pack hike in one of Portland's amazing outdoor recreation areas! 

Socialization is guaranteed along the way to and from the hike in one of our custom Doggie Busses for fun to be had from the moment we arrive until we drop off back at home.

  • Service area includes all of SE Portland, Sellwood/Moreland, Happy Valley

  • Morning and afternoon hike times are offered Monday to Friday

  • Hike times vary but are always 1 to 1.5 hours in hike time.  Total Adventure time is 2 hours from pick up to drop off.

  • No more than 3 dogs per Team Leader so we keep our packs small and safe

  • All pups get toweled off in rainy weather prior to going home

  • Peanut butter treats and fresh water provided the entire adventure

  • A snug fitting harness is required

Off Leash Adventures

$60/dog

These PAWesome Adventures run out on our private, 40 acres of land in Oregon City, Oregon for 1.5 hours of running, playing, sniffing, swimming, and social fun with up to 15 dogs! Pickup and drop off included in all Adventures in our custom Ford Transit AKA the Doggie Lounge!

  • Total Adventure time is 3+ hours with 1.5 hours of play at the land.

  • service areas include SE Portland, NE Portland (south of I-84), Happy Valley, and Milwaukie

  • All pups get toweled off and we have a hose if needed for our extra dirty buddies!

  • Off leash Pups must have history of good recall and willingness to stay with the pack

  • Unfortunately any pups with a history of social reactivity may not be able to join the Off leash. We will evaluate each dog on a case by case basis and may recommend On Leash Adventures.

  • Two Team Leaders run these Adventures in the mornings Monday through Friday.

All Day Adventures

$90/dog

Does your Pup need double the fun in one day? Then these are made for your high energy buddy! Combine the AM Off leash with the afternoon hike or double up the AM and PM On leash hikes to get 2.5-3 hours of pure running / hike time. Pickup starts with the AM Adventure and the drop off is after the PM Adventure.

  • Pups stay with our Team all day until drop off

  • Treats and fresh water are provided all day

  • Total time with our Team is 5+ hours

On his first hike, they gave us two Polaroids of him and a little welcome bag. This service is beyond convenient as they come to your home and take your dog on a hike!   • I rely upon Surf's Pup to care for my dog five days a week! They take her for both on- and off-leash adventures. It gives her opportunities to be with other people; to ride in different automobiles; with other dogs; and to get her ya-ya's out when I am away at work all day.   • Janis and her crew at Surf’s Pup are absolutely phenomenal. I found her on social media thanks to a few girls I went to high school with. We have two dogs (one older and one puppy) and Surfs Pup allows our puppy Emma an opportunity to socialize and adventure with her pack, while Norman gets to relax at home and go on his favorite special car rides without his sister driving him nuts. My dogs are like my children and I don’t easily trust them in the care of others, but Janis helped me get over that hump with constant communication and listening to any concerns I had regarding Emma with other dogs. The Nitty Gritty

We’re all about the fun, but we still have to dot our i’s, cross our t’s, and pick up the poop—here’s the fine print made easy.

  • Once your Pup is booked on board, we hold that space for your Pup(s) and sometimes have to start a waitlist or turn other Pup requests away if we are fully booked. Cancellations that come in within 24 hours of the booking are extremely hard to fill last minute and sometimes we have to ask out Team Leaders to take the day off and that just bums us all out. So, if you need to cancel your Pup, we ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice or we do have to charge full price for the booking. If emergent or unforeseen circumstances arise, we will do our best to reschedule and work with your needs!

  • Pick up and drop off location changes within 24 hours of booking can alter our whole day of scheduled Pupventures. If we can change your pick up location we will charge an additional $10 to the Pupventure for location changes within 24 hours of booking and if we are unable to accommodate the location change we will cancel the Pupventure and charge the full cancellation fee (see above).

  • In the case of extreme weather (heat, cold, ice, snow, etc.) we may need to cancel our Pupventures to preserve the safety of our Team Leaders and our favorite little buddies in our Pack. The decision to cancel any of our Pupventures due to weather is taken very seriously and only when absolutely necessary. If we have to cancel due to weather, we will give at minimum of a 2-Hour notification of cancellation in Time to Pet.
